Rajinikanth in Singapore for kidney transplant

Rajinikanth has been hospitalised thrice in a month with a kidney ailment and respiratory infection and if sources are to be believed the actor is on kidney dialysis since one of his kidneys are not responding well.

Kidney transplant in India is a tedious procedure and it is difficult to find one donor for the same who could complete the formality.

The long process would also put Rajinikanth’s ailment in media glare and would have adverse effect on his film trade since around Rs 100 crores are on stake.

If sources are to be believed, in Singapore the medical treaties are simpler and the donors too are easily accessible.

In past a lot of high profile business tycoons and politicians too have under gone transplants there.

Though family has rubbished these theories as speculations but close sources said that there was no other alternative but to secretly go through the transplant, which happens to be eight hour long operation and 15 day long recovery process.
